Share Your LeRoy Town Homecoming Memories!
The SCC Middle School Journalism students are researching the history of the LeRoy Town Homecoming for an upcoming edition of our school newsletter, Voice of the Titans.

We would love to hear from former students, longtime residents, community members, and anyone who has participated in or remembers LeRoy Town Homecoming over the years. We are looking for memories, stories, traditions, photographs, and interesting pieces of history that help show how this community celebration has changed—and what has stayed the same.

Your memories may help our students tell the story of LeRoy Town Homecoming and preserve some of our community's history for future generations.

Please take a few minutes to share what you remember. There are no "right" or "wrong" answers—we simply want to hear your stories!

Thank you for helping our journalism students learn more about the history and traditions of our community!

📱💙💛 New Student Cell Phone & Digital Communication Guidelines for the 2026–2027 School Year 💛💙📱

At USD 245 Southern Coffey County Schools, our mission is to provide a safe, focused, and engaging learning environment for every student. Beginning this school year, we will implement new procedures in accordance with Kansas Law HB2299 regarding student cell phones and personal electronic communication devices.

📵 What this means:
• Personal electronic devices must be secured in student lockers from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
• Devices will be returned to students at the end of the school day.
• Parents who need to contact their child during the school day should call the school office at 620-964-2217, and we will ensure your message is delivered promptly.
• Students who need to contact a parent or guardian may visit the office for assistance at any time.

💬 Safe & Appropriate Communication
Student and staff communication will continue through district-approved platforms, including:
✅ USD 245 Email
✅ Apptegy Rooms

To help protect students and staff, two-way communication through personal social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, X, and TikTok is not permitted.

We recognize that this change may require an adjustment for students and families, and we sincerely appreciate your support and partnership. By working together, we can reduce distractions, strengthen student engagement, and create a safer, more focused learning environment for everyone.

If you have questions about these procedures, please contact your child's school office or the District Office. We are always happy to help.

💙💛 One District. One Team. One Titan Family.
