
DRIVER NEEDED!
USD 245 is looking for someone in our communities who would be willing to drive our vocational students to Garnett for the 2025-26 school year. Possible candidates would have to be able to pass a background check and a driver's license check. Work hours would be 11:30 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Thursday. The potential candidate would drive a school provided vehicle. Please have anyone you may know contact the district office at 620-964-2212 or email Nikki Houston at nhouston@usd245ks.org, if they are interested in performing these duties during the school year. First day of school in Garnett is August 18th.


Due to the floors being refinished, the gymnasium will be CLOSED Friday July 18th - Sunday July 20th. The gym will re-open on Monday July 21st. The weight room will remain OPEN to the public over the weekend.

There will be a cheer meeting for SCCHS Cheerleaders on Friday, July 11th at 6:00 pm in the Gymnasium in LeRoy. Anyone grades 9-12 interested in cheer are encouraged to attend.


SCC Alumni Emily Ludolph recently participated in the Kansas Masonic All-State Marching Band and was also the recipient of the Jeff Atherly Inspiration Award. Congratulations, Emily!


Please join us for a community rally to celebrate the SCC State Champion Trap team! The rally will be held at the LeRoy City Park on Sunday, June 22nd at 8:00 pm. Come meet & greet our trap team members and enjoy some watermelon!

On Saturday, the SCC team competed at the state competition. SCC shooters not only showed up mentally prepared, they showed up with a purpose. Everyone in attendance knew the name Southern Coffey County by the time the day was over. SCC left with awards in all classifications and many individual awards.
