2017-18 MS Class Schedule

Flint Hills Technical College

The Southern Coffey County Middle School 7th and 8th grade classes in front of the Flint Hills Technical College building. On Monday, September 18th, the two classes took a trip to Flint Hills Tech in order to take a career and personality assessment. Students then went to Emporia State University in the afternoon to tour and eat lunch on campus to see what life is like in college.

SCCMS Agriculture Explorations Class

The SCCMS Agriculture Explorations class working on their project of building livestock facility models with their teacher Matthew Loomis. Students used materials such as toothpicks and toy animals to design their facilities based on the works done by Temple Grandin. Grandin is considered the foremost expert on safe livestock handling and designs animal working facilities throughout the world.

STUCO Elections

Levi Griffith TK

Levi Griffith was elected Secretary of STUCO.Tempest Klassen was elected President of STUCO. The students gave speeches to their classmates on the office they wanted to hold and what they’d do if elected. The following aren’t pictured but were elected as well. Cody Brite was elected as Treasurer, Aiden Voorhees Vice President, Mitchyl Walters Representative, Josie Weers Representative, Brock Williams Representative, Kyla Lankton Representative, & Kaydence Gunlock Representative.



The students will be named and listed in parentheses the office they ran for.
